Red Brembos with Perf Package?

Red Brembos with Perf Package?
If you get the Perf Package on the 2016 GT (ours will be black with black wheels) will it come with the red Brembo brakes that I have seen for so long? I know they are Brembos but wife wants to know if they all have that red section?

They have always been flat black with red letters. If you've seen some that are all red, the owner painted them. The GT500s have always been gloss black with white letters. Hope that helps

I apologize. YOU are correct. Black calipers with red lettering. I am nuts. I am not sure why they do not put Brembos on the back wheels, but the car stops almost immediately. These brakes grab unbelievably. I had Brembos on my Corvette (front and back) and they did not feel quite like this.

Haha no worries, it just wouldn't surprise me if it was a late 2016 add-in. Ford offers red painter calipers as an option on the Fiesta and Focus STs, so I don't see why they couldn't on the Mustang.
I'm sure they don't put Brembo's on the rear for that exact reason. They aren't really needed, though it would be nice for the ease of changing pads. The GT350s have Brembos on the rear though (as do the Camaros that are equipped with their Brembo packages).

This might help explain. Look at the contact patch under braking.
As you say, the car stops well. If you had 4 piston setup back there with no other mods, you'd lock up the rear wheels way before you lock up the front. That would be very bad for stability.
Changing bake bias towards the rear is only a good idea if you've significantly altered the suspension, thus affecting the weight transfer during braking.
