Upgrades can get out of hand quickly. It is best to start with a plan on how you want to use the car - strip, street, or road course and then plan your mods around the desired use.

I'd decide if you want more of a drag car or all around handler - then pick your suspension bits and start there. Then I'd do an X pipe to delete the factory resonator. MGW shifter. Wheels and tires if you want to change them. That would be a good start and bare minimums for any new car for me, especially a Mustang.
