I recently purchased from dealer a 2015 GT Premium with 9,000 miles. Car is in great shape but was missing engine cover. I assume all 5.0 engines came with a cover. What could be the reason cover missing? My guess is cover was removed and misplaced in the dealer process of acquiring and reselling the car. There is no strut brace on car which could make engine cover removal and replacement more difficult. Any ideas as to why it is missing: previous owner preference, damage, stolen, modification preventing, etc?

 

My guess would be previous owner removed it and didn't put it back on when trading it in.
