January Surprise
I ordered my 2018 GT Premium the last week in October. My dealer hasn't been the most communicative and never sent me the VIN #. I got an email a week ago about setting up my phone in my new car with a vin# attached. I went to Ford's VIN# tracker and ran the number and found out the car had been delivered to the dealer the day before. I picked it up yesterday. I traded in a very low mileage 2014 GT TP with a MGW shifter. My initial impressions are WOW!!! what a difference. I had already bought a new MGW shifter for it back when they were giving 10% off for Black Friday. At this point I don't think I'm going to need it. The MT-82 now shifts almost effortlessly and is not notchy at all. Admittedly, I didn't push it much on the way home (although I cracked 90 mph not even trying) but it is fine in my book. The car also has a very smooth ride. My 2014 had the Ford Racing adjustable suspension on it and although it cornered great, it did ride hard. The Bermudas are touchy so that will take a little getting used to. The last one had Brembos too but they never felt that strong. I think the best way to describe it is the 2014 was a muscle car. The 2018 is a sports car. I also got an extra $1000 off since Ford has $1,500 off until the end of January - more money for parts! Now all I have to do is wait two months for Winter to go away so i can take it out of the garage.

So the 18 is a much better car or just a different type of car?
