Has anyone on here installed headlight and tail light tint? If so, was it hard? How did it turn out? What is the best kit to get? Any help is much appreciated.

 

Yes I have. I purchased the smoke tint from American Muscle, I believe its about 50 bucks. The only challenging part is the tail lights because of the shape. Just take your time. I could not tint the headlights because in Texas its illegal, so what I did was cut the headlight tint for the corners (side of headlight) only. It turned out very good.

Here are a couple of pics. Rear and front to see the corners on the headlight I did. I tinted the side markers and all others as well.

 

I love the look of the tint but that runs afoul of the law in several states. I have had several friends that failed state inspection for having them. One friend had to buy all new tail lights and headlights because it was permanent and could not be removed (spray on type). Cost him a couple of grand just to pass inspection. I also had a friend that got stopped and ticketed with them in NY. And I have almost rear ended a guy with tint that completely obliterated his lights to the point that you could not see them in bright daylight. So be careful.
