On torch red... I'd be looking at either silver, off-white, or champagne colors (if I had matching wheels).

Either way, it'll look awesome!

I'm definitely leaning towards silver, as it would really stand out while at the same time be totally different.. For it seems like every red colored Mustang has either black or white stripes on them

It's hard to see in the photos on that site, but it mounts to the lower grill. It's a pretty ingenious design. There is a small plate that attaches to the back and keeps the bracket tight. I'll take some pics and post tomorrow. He sells brackets for the 2015 as well.

It mounts to the lower grill without drilling any holes into it at all ?

Sorry that I didn't post pics...busy day. Check out this install vid. Its for the V6, but they all mount in a similar fashion.

2010-2012 Mustang V-6 No Drill License Plate Bracket.wmv - YouTube
I had a chance to watch the video you posted and found it very interested, however there is just one problem..

My car is a 2006 GT with the stock front bumper and grill.. Unlike the V6 in the video which has the honeycombed lower grill, the GT lower grill clearly does not as the center is completely open..

So my question is this, how will this bracket mount on a 2006 GT

Because plenty of people don't put them on.

In Texas, it is the law, we have to have one... My truck has never had one and I have no plans to put it on... The cops can pull you over and it is a $200 fine...

I still see tons and tons of cars and trucks without them however...

A front plate is also required by law in the state of NJ, which was the purpose behind my question to begin with !

I was thinking the exact same thing for my RR Premium. I just asked the husband what he thought. He said, "Maybe if we get a supercharger for it first".

I am getting ready to order a '15.I looked at a few at dealers and think they NEED stripes or graphics of some kind.I saw an orange that really needed some black.
I cant believe Ford isn't yet offering stripe pkgs. I'd prefer factory(kind of) installation.

Agree, 100% with the factory option (not an aftermarket person) stripe. Scott
