Easy Entry Exit Mode

How many of you use the Easy Entry and Exit mode in your 2015 Mustang GT? I use it and it is really nice...

I use mine. It's a lot easier at my age to enter and exit. The track moves on two screw bolts so it should last a long time. No different than power windows as far as a motor failing.

I really like the Recaro Seats, but the only regret is that they are hard to get in/out of.

Best part, no more banging my head on the A pillar. It puts the seat back far enough that you can enter and exit with ease.

I love it. My wife & I each have a "memory" position. Yes the 401A package.

Very convenient when there are more than 1 drivers involved. Doubt I would really care for it. Wife hasn't had more than 15 - 20 minutes driving in my S197.

Is there a way to limit how far back the seat will go using the Easy Enter feature? Being of short stature, it’s a reach to depress the clutch fully when the seat is at the end of the screw gear.

I don't have this on my Mustang but we have it on our Edge. You can go to the settings and 'disable' it, if you need to

When the seat goes all the way back, I also can't fully depress the clutch. I don't think it has anything to do with being of "short stature". This feature is awesome as it saves the seat side bolsters from excessive wear. I sit in the car, push the start button so the seat starts to move into my saved position, put my seat belt on, and by that time, my seat is in position for me to start the car.

So, just push the start button after you sit, then push it again to start the car when the seat is in position.

Does anyone's easy exit not activate sometimes?

On numerous occasions, the seat will not move forward after turning on the car. As I'm 6'1 I can reach the pedals regardless, so don't notice until driving and then I have to put the car in N so I can get the seat into the right position. (using the memory function)

Is there a software update perhaps that would fix this? Mine's a 2016
GT.

Thanks in advance.

Mine has stopped working a few times and at the same time the memory buttons did not work. Stopping and restarting the car would reset the system. Just after I bought the car I got a survey from Ford and I mentioned that issue and got a phone call from Ford engineers (?) a week or two later. and we chatted at length on the issue. In the two years of ownership, it has only happened 3-4 times and nothing I worry about unless it stops working for a long time.

Mine fails 2-3 times a week and often in the same day.
I’ve only got 500 miles left on my warranty but doubt I’ll find any dealer willing to help me. The ones here couldn’t find a bad tire that was causing a severe vibration.

What year and model is your stang? I had my rear differential replaced twice in two years for a bad vibration.

Definitely the tires - replaced them about 10,000 miles ago and its a completely different car now.
