Hi all

just bought a 2018 Mustang from a danish dealer, who already had the car ordered at the factory, so I couldn't really change anything on the order

In my contract the dealer states that it has the MagneRide option, but when I check the car on the ford windows sticker site, I can't really see if that is true

does anyone here have the possibility to check this for me

The vin is 1FA6P8CF7J5181693

I asked my dealer today, and he still says that the car will come with MagneRide, but I´m a little but unsure if he knows what he is talking about

The window sticker that I found online does not list the MagneRide option. I would say your car is not so equipped.

 

that's is also my concern, I have asked Ford Denmark on facebook, if they can confirm it or not

yes, that's the same sticker I found, I wonder if anyone here has access to ford's database and can see more than on the sticker?

 

another idea, perhaps anyone who has the magnaride installed, could share their vin, so I can see if it is stated on their windows sticker?

 

On the window sticker it is listed separately under optional equipment at a cost of $1,695.

 

How about turning the front wheels to one full lock and looking for wires going into the strut assembly. The rear shocks are also wired for this system.

update

visited the dealer today, and he says that the car comes with MagnaRide, he showed me a printout of the Danish order system, which states that the car has MagnaRide

He said that probably the car was ordered without at first and it was added later on before the car was built,

He says that the window sticker only shows what the original order was

I guess I will find out in august when the car finally arrives

Are there any indicators that by looking at the car will indicate that the car does indeed have it installed?

 

Look at the top of the front struts to see if there is a cable coming out of them

It will have it. Your car will have the GT Performance package 2 which has the MageRide as part of the package. I also checked with Ford's website Build & Price and it is listed as part of the package so you will have it.

 

 

No, it doesn't have the PP2. He's buying a euro version, and it has an auto which the PP2 is not available with. If they changed the order to add Magneride after the fact, there should be an updated window sticker...
