I plugged in my VIN at the FordEtis site and found out my GT was built 3-12-2015. I purchased it on Monday this week and the dealer had just got it in. It had 4 miles on it when I bought it. I am wondering where this car has been since it was built in March of 2015. Seems to be quite awhile from production to sale. Does anyone have an explanation for this. Thanks.

 

I found out that it was built 12-03-15. Apparently it is decoded using the day first the month second and then the year.
