Best Tune for whippled 16 Mustang

I have the 2.9 Whipple supercharger 132mm throttle body with tune that came from Whipple.

is there a better tune? If so, how do I get it in SoCal

If you have the Stage 2 Whipple kit, the Whipple tune is the best for your car.
VMP, PBD does a good job, as does Lund. But, Whipple's tune is usually showing awesome numbers on the dyno.

Your " best " tune comes from being tuned @ a shop, by someone who knows what they're doing.
If your only option is an e-mail tune, I wouldn't waste your money !!

Best tune whippled 16 Mustang

Agreed that the best tune is on the Dyno by an experienced tuner. Imho also the tune that came with the whippled should be result of extensive testing and should be safe. Taking that into consideration, how good could be and extra 25-35 horse pwr if it going to damage a part that could cost a lot as a result of more tuning?
In my case I went with roush supercharger installed at a Ford dealer. The car has plenty of power and no worries about warranty. The computer is locked by the roush program so no playing with that tune.

Lol...I know three guys with Whipples in NorCal. All have started with the stock Whipple tune and eventually gone to Lund, and have had them verified on Whipple's own dyno.

OP,......you need to spend some time over at mustang6g.com.
Almost all of the guys running the Whipple Stage 2 tune are killing it. Some of them are running Lund and some are running Palm Beach Dyno as well. All great.
The Whipple tune, from what I read, is the best for the Whipple Stage 2, if in fact you have the Stage 2 kit. Plus, you can use their flight panel controller, which you can customize some stuff. But, don't take my word for it. Do your own research. My friend Jaime had over 700rwhp and about 530rwtq on his old S550 Mustang. His new '17 Mustang California Special will probably be about the same. His friend Jason has over 700rwhp and about 530rwtq as well on his. Both running the Whipple tune.
Good luck!
