2017 GT 50

Hi Guys in new here and just finding my feet with my 2017 Mustang GT
had the car around 18 months now with 8000km on
Am I correct in thinking that in race mode the thing has a more throaty roar in the exhaust? If this is the case can I pull a fuse like on my other cars that leave it open all the time?

the thing is way to silent for a V8 and I'm considering removing the resonater

or, try MBRP catback...

(I think the 18s have a mute button, don't they?)

thanks I built a H pipe today and installed it , seems to have improved the sound I retained the rear end boxes.

The 2017s have no active exhaust or different tuning for the exhaust note in track mode. It would've just been a placebo effect.

More likely makes a better noise when downshifting in Sport or Track mode. It's louder than downshifting in normal mode. Sounds like and feels like a manual in a way. But driving and under acceleration would be the same.
