I was there as well and can state that it is a beautiful color. In the shade it appears more charcoal like, in sunlight, more metallic green. It reminds me of the Black Jade color of 1969.

It would be a unique color to replace your unique windveil blue

I saw you zip by as I was getting ready to leave. My running group was on their way back. I am supposed to be their pacing person, so I did feel some responsibility for them

Very cool that you saw Jack Telnack. Any thing of note that he said that you remember?

It actually resembles Dark Satin Green of the 99GT a little more than the Jade...I wish I knew how close it actually is to DSG and on my 99GT its color code was FU

I wonder if any engineers on here could elaborate on this??

Not really . . . he provided a little more insight into the Fox development/design, but nothing ground shaking.

This car is a stunner in Guard, that's likely the color I'll choose if I get a 2015.

I wish you had pics of the seats and interior details, but the shots you do have are great!

Maybe it's because I'm seeing it from the side at a low angle, but that's going to be a tight squeeze for a pair of turbos in the future.

I really dislike the seats being two tone like that. It looks so.....GM.

Here's that same Guard car. Looks good at this angle!

I LOVE that effect In fact, that's why I decided to get the color combination I did.

Your car looked and sounded great as I saw it pass. Hope to catch you sometime in person this summer.

Won't the Ecoboost premium have boost gauge in center of dash?
