Take the Heatshield off the turbo, remove the wastgate actuator, and remove all the preloaded off the wastegate! This will give you an additional 40HP, or 2psi and put you close to 300whp! You won't get a check engine light for over boost, so don't worry!
Removing the heatshieldis not easy, so good luck!

5.5 isn't too bad but I would have thought it would have been better . I have a 5.1 recorded on my G-Tech and didn't get traction until around 45 mph with my v6

Remove the hose that connects the bypass hose from the turbo inlet to turbo outlet!
The end result is a functioning blow off valve! Every gear shift will result in a blow off sound!
Do this but still order an authentic blow off valve which connects to the vacuum side of the throttle body! The bypass blowing off boost on every gear shift sounds so awesome! It will blow off boost anywhere from -2 vacuum to positive boost!

Some may choose too forgoe a blow off valve because as you will see, the OEM bypass valve is connected to the ECU! An aftermarket BOV is not connected to the ECU!
Which is why never bothered with an aftermarket BOV!
For safety reasons the Bypass is connected the ECU!! When the ECU needs to control boost it will moderate the wastegate or open the bypass valve! So I'll never buy a BOV at this point, but we shall see! I'm not against it! Its possible!
