ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL MICROPHONES DISCONNECT. TWO (OR 3) ON EACH CAR
4 Attachment(s)
After hours of searching useless websites only to find BAD information, I have found that in my 2017 Mustang EcoBoost Convertible uses TWO microphones, and the Coupe uses THREE to broadcast the engine noise thru the radio speakers.
Both models in 2017 use the trunks' left rear area see all the attachments from the Chilton manual that found, I will post pictures of the locations when the garage warms up. Happy Motoring! |

Is that just the Ecoboost models that have the fake exhaust sound? I hope the GT models are exempt. Man, I thought BMW was the only manufacturer creating fake exhaust notes. I guess I am 'out of it'. All I know is I would really dislike that.

"Just Microphones in my car would be a putoff." I think I read that the "engine noise enhancement started in 2014. see:https://www.pocket-lint.com/cars/new...-sound-better/ The noise it makes is very annoying to me, but I am 77 years old, and don't want FAKE engine noise. |
