Ruby Red

Ruby red is my second favorite 2015 Mustang color. Post some pics if you have one.

I have not thought much about this color until seeing it in person. Someone in my neighborhood has one. It looks great on the 15. The first time I saw I slowed down to a stop to oogle it. I have not seen many of the 15's, I get excited when I see one. A couple of days ago saw one in guard. The first one I saw was a magnetic.

I went in to order a 2013 in Red Candy on 1/4/2013 only to learn that Ford had already shut off 2013 orders. So I ordered a 2014 in Ruby Red on 1/7/2013. Ruby Red is an incredible color - even better than Red Candy.

Ruby Red and DIB are beautiful paints. Just be prepared to repainted the entire car if you're ever in an accident lol. Unless you do, the paint will never match if metal surfaces need to be redone. I've owned Laser Red, Redfire and now Ingot Silver. I'm done with metallic paints. I'll order black from now on and have it vinyl wrapped whatever color I want down the road!

Silver, sorry to say, also has the same refinishing characteristic. I owned an Econoline Van, a Corvette, and Toyota MR2, all silver. A scratch, stone nick, etc. is impossible to hide with touch up paint. Something about the way metallic reflect light but especially with silver.

That's why my GT Premium Fastback being built this week will be white.

My 2014 is Ingot Silver. I was in an accident 5 weeks ago. Should be getting the car back this week. I know. but really I had them do extra mods that required repainting the entire car minus the bumpers. Still, they still would have had to do a lot of blending even if I didn't, to make it look right.

I drive a 2009 brilliant silver Mustang. In 2013 a lady side swiped me in my daughter's school parking lot. It was above the passenger side rear wheel well and a little bit on the passenger car door. I can honestly say, that the paint blended just fine and I can't even tell it was hit.

I tore up the front end of my Lava Red, which included the right fender (replaced). They didn't have to blend anywhere, but you'd never know it had been replaced. I expected to be able to see it where the fender met the door, but couldn't. And believe me, I studied on it.

Very nice color! My first choice was grey magnetic but when I see it in real... it's really too dark for me... close to a black color.. so when I see the ruby red, I know it'll be the good one!
I have one in order too! Ruby Red coupe V6 manual 3.55ratio EDD 07/20.

Pick one up about two months ago. Love the color, I was looking at black or silver until I saw Ruby Red, man I just fell in love. Lol.

Very pretty color and car! I wound up going with black ;-) The black one came in before the ruby red, so they called me to come and look at it. They parked the ruby red right next to the black, and I fell in love with the black. I love the mustang, no matter what color it is! Enjoy!

went to a mustang show in richmond va on sept 19 and saw a Ruby Red GT/CS on display.
if it was clean it would have been sweet! the red just popped in the sun.
would be a second choice behind my CO. red is still my fav color though.

I've been seeing more and more S550's on the road around here, and Ruby Red seems to be as popular, if not more so, than black.

I agree with you about it being more popular, in the town I live in I've seen two more ruby red ones, one blue, and one grey. Kinda surprised, I purchased a ruby red instead of black thinking it would less popular. Ha, I would still chose RR over black, love the color.

Thx. I ended up going with 20% all the way around and 35% on the windshield.
