Yup, back into an auto. My supercharged '07 was an auto, and so easy to drag race consistently. I think the '14 is gonna stay naturally aspirated, but I'll probably get a big stall converter, tune, and long tube headers and see if it runs high 11's consistently in the 1/4 mile.

 

Love that mouse; I have one of those in my office at work. I can't decide whether to stripe or not. I pinstriped my '07 GT, then did big stripes over my '11 GT. Decisions, decisions....

 

Do a lot of research when getting and auto tune for this. I have tried a few and the only ones worth anything are JPC, VMP, Brooksspeed.

Another one hit the road last month. Never was given the keys to a new car in a dedicated indoor "Delivery Bay " before. I`m told this is going to be implemented at each Ford Dealership in the future.

 

Yes, Ruby Red IS the greatest color! Ford didn't just hit it out of the park with this color, they hit it out of the state!

 

I've named her Ruby also. I just love this color. I had a 2013 Ingot Silver V6 Base, but traded it in for this beauty.

 

Seeing all these beautiful Ruby Red Mustangs has me anticipating the arrival of mine that much more! Looking great, can't wait to join the team!

 

Here is my Ruby 14...she is a month old, she has had some upgrades, but still on training wheels until she is broke in right. No rough stuff (of course I know she likes it) until the training wheels are off. She did show me a little of her stuff at 110mph for a few seconds on the freeway and I had to pull back on the reins a bit. She keeps a itchin to go to 7000, but I stop her at 6000 and tell her she knows better then that.

I think she is going to be a good one and very trainable.....

Here's my ruby red '14 GT rockin' the 1/4 mile last Sunday. This pass was a 12.03 @ 113+. Note that front left tire almost off the ground and the rear drag radial wrinkling to net me a 1.66 sixty foot time....

Thanks. Yes, personal best with this car. Ran a pair of 12.04's the same day. I was gunnin' for an 11.99 all day to no avail....

Gonna install 4.10's and a better tune over the winter in the hopes of running high 11's every run, even in the summer months.

 

I spent about a month dreaming up the perfect Mustang. I had it narrowed down to two colors, DIB and Sterling Grey...at the last minute, literally, the salesman was putting my order in the system, I ordered Ruby Red. It was the best choice I've made!
