Hey Ellk, just wondering... This interior color is not at all what I'm expecting. The colour I am expecting is kind of light brown. Yours is a little too light-coloured. I need to get to the bottom of this since I still can change my mind before Tuesday !

Was there a colour change in 2014 or is it a "camera trick" ?

Every new light in which you see this color yields a new surprise. The color really is awesome!

I just realized that the millionth Mustang to roll out of the Flat Rocks plant was ... (Drum roll) Ruby Red !

Added small / modest pin stripes to hood and rear quarters today. May or may nor keep them but I am getting use to them. It really is hard to capture the beauty of Ruby Red.

I like them.. Alot, the more I look at them. Brings out the color and matches the sexy interior

As far as capturing the beauty of Ruby Red goes I had a coworker outside this morning when I pulled up say to me "You know that color is just amazing. It actually changes. Sometimes its a completely different shade of red, sometimes its a darker type of red, right now it's a bright wet vibrant red that looks like.. I could just jump into it and swim in it. It's so wild every time I see it it looks different"

Hard to capture that with a camera.

I believe it is the best color...sure looks like Ruby Red to me.

Ford has some really awesome colors out right now - please post more Ruby Red photos folks! My wife has a new Fusion in Tuxedo Black Metallic, and I'm sure I would've bought mine with it if Lava Red wasn't a choice at the time.

But I'd like to see more variations of that Ruby Red in the sun/shade if anyone has them.

I'll be taking delivery of mine this week. Funny thing, I just noticed that my 2005 Mustang was the first year for this platform, and its color was only available that year (mineral grey). My Ruby Red will be the last year of this platform, yet again with an exclusive color !

This is hands down the most gorgeous color and car I've ever owned.

I've been driving for a very long time and I have never before seen such a spectacular color. The person who spoke about feeling as if they could jump in and swim in it really hit it. This color just sucks you in. Ford, you really did it this time.

I love "RUBY" so far. Added modest pin stripe, wheel spinners, side scoops and lower fog lights, tinted driving lights yellow. Lastly, got a Mustang computer mouse

I really grew tired of the rough, choppy ride of the stiffer shocks/struts in the Brembo package. The standard GT suspension is so much more comfortable for a daily drive. I'll miss the wheels, though! I love the wheels that came with the Brembo package.

Yup, back into an auto. My supercharged '07 was an auto, and so easy to drag race consistently. I think the '14 is gonna stay naturally aspirated, but I'll probably get a big stall converter, tune, and long tube headers and see if it runs high 11's consistently in the 1/4 mile.

Love that mouse; I have one of those in my office at work. I can't decide whether to stripe or not. I pinstriped my '07 GT, then did big stripes over my '11 GT. Decisions, decisions....

Do a lot of research when getting and auto tune for this. I have tried a few and the only ones worth anything are JPC, VMP, Brooksspeed.

Another one hit the road last month. Never was given the keys to a new car in a dedicated indoor "Delivery Bay " before. I`m told this is going to be implemented at each Ford Dealership in the future.

I've named her Ruby also. I just love this color. I had a 2013 Ingot Silver V6 Base, but traded it in for this beauty.

Seeing all these beautiful Ruby Red Mustangs has me anticipating the arrival of mine that much more! Looking great, can't wait to join the team!

Here is my Ruby 14...she is a month old, she has had some upgrades, but still on training wheels until she is broke in right. No rough stuff (of course I know she likes it) until the training wheels are off. She did show me a little of her stuff at 110mph for a few seconds on the freeway and I had to pull back on the reins a bit. She keeps a itchin to go to 7000, but I stop her at 6000 and tell her she knows better then that.

I think she is going to be a good one and very trainable.....

Here's my ruby red '14 GT rockin' the 1/4 mile last Sunday. This pass was a 12.03 @ 113+. Note that front left tire almost off the ground and the rear drag radial wrinkling to net me a 1.66 sixty foot time....

Thanks. Yes, personal best with this car. Ran a pair of 12.04's the same day. I was gunnin' for an 11.99 all day to no avail....

Gonna install 4.10's and a better tune over the winter in the hopes of running high 11's every run, even in the summer months.

I spent about a month dreaming up the perfect Mustang. I had it narrowed down to two colors, DIB and Sterling Grey...at the last minute, literally, the salesman was putting my order in the system, I ordered Ruby Red. It was the best choice I've made!

This color gets better every day.

After ownership of about a week... I can say this... Wife is in love... She enjoys the "Sport" setting on the steering... And every "Quick run to the store" turns into a three or four hour "Turn here, turn there".. lol

We are already over 700 miles on the odometer... Trouble is deciding who is driving :catfight:

We have decided on a few mods right away... Basic small ones till next year/summer...

Window Tint
Dual stripes. I am thinking the 10" ones
Backup sensors
Thinking of going to 3:73's
Sound system. Factory setup is horrible...
I think I want the GT500 axle backs as well. I want a meatier sound without droning on the road trips... I do about 50 miles a day on the HWY and another 30+ on the side streets. No need for a headache while conduction business...

such a GORGEOUS color! Thinking of trading my truck up to a newer f150 in a candy red or similar. So hot!

Ive made a few improvements to mine....Nothing major yet though, but it is still looking better than it did when I bought it off the showroom floor. Ive upgraded the wheels to 18" GT stock, added the pony fender emblems, trunk cargo net, better floor mats, and as soon as the weather gets better I`m going to change the front brakes to the larger GT rotors.
