No Love For The CS?
This! I had a 68 California special that I ruined and sold. I so wanted the cs but wanted the brembo package more. If it was available, I'd be driving it now.
Then of course you have CS' like Gary's heavily modded (07) Seven. Definitely added Go to the Show.

Hi Gang:
In May of last year I got my 2013 GT/CS and I looked high and low for any sites dedicated to the 2011 on up GT/CS and came up empty handed. I did find the 2007-2009 site here on TMS and checked on it occasionally as the closest thing dealing with SN197 model GT/CS's. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few weeks ago that this new sub-section had been created, but I just by luck stumbled across it. I think we need to give people time to spread the word to all the other GT/CS owners who may like me have just thought that The Mustang Source only dealt with a category for the 2007-2009 cars.
Maybe we could all make a point of spreading the word about this site to fellow Mustang enthusists, not just current GT/CS owners, but a lot of the other Mustang people who like the GT/CS model or would enjoy being given more information on the car.
Here is hoping everyone has great St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Love my '11 GT/CS.
Even though it may only be a trim package, a very cool trim package at that, I'm glad to see there's a GT/CS section now.

Mine did come with the 3.73 gears, comfort package and navigation system.
I haven't done any mods.
I do think I eventually want to add classic window louvers, hood spears, and hood struts.
Other than that, I think she's fine just the way she is.
And 412hp is plenty enough to put a grin on my face
.
I'm just waiting for the rest of this snow to melt and a couple of good rains to wash away the salt, so I can get her out and start driving her.

I too have stumbled across this new forum. I definitely like my GT/CS for its uniqueness, I hardly see another one on the road. Countless v6 models, a few 5.0s. And it also feels fitting considering I live in California. I also wish it came with the Brembo option but so far the standard brakes have worked absolutely fine even with the additional horsepower.
When I bought her she looked like this:
Granted she was lowered already at this point.
Now I really made her my own with plenty of grunt to defend the Mustang name

I really need better photos.

Very nice car.
When I decided to get a Mustang Convertible I didn't even know about the GT/CS - we were looking on the internet as I wanted a 1 year old car with low mileage. Looking all over everywhere and found the GT/CS (the only one) in the color we wanted Race Red with black rag top and it was at a dealer 1/2 hour from our house. I simply love it and people are right - there are lots of mustangs but not many California Specials. We are keeping it mostly stock but are looking at putting GT500 Quad exhaust on to replace the stock exhaust and put in a dead pedal to rest your foot and protect the carpet with GT/CS cut out of the bottom with the black carpet showing through. Plus a Mustang GT license plate holder. We will get wider tires when it is time to buy for the rear. I have more than enough power to handle with this beast
I think it is definitely a unique and limited collectors car and will keep mine till I can't drive her anymore. Glad to have found this website and a section to talk about GT/CS. I am glad to have joined the club.
