anybody running wider tires on stock gt/cs wheels

looking to keep stock wheels want to see pics of stock wheels with wider tires.

It looks like a 255 is the widest recommended tire for the 8.5" wheel. I have seen a few people running 265 on other 8.5" wheels. I would like to see how it looks on the C/S wheels though.

I wanted badly to keep the cs wheels with wider tires but nobody recommended it.

Thats what I am afraid of. It looks like I am going to have to pick up a set of Boss LS wheels from FRPP. Makes me kinda mad since they are basically the exact same design.

I'm running 245/35/18 Hoosier R6's on my stock rims (for race day only).
Thats 9.3" of tread width

255-45-19 will work. The tread is about .49 wider and the sidewall .33 shorter. You would notice the difference. This is the tire size that is stock on the GT with Brembo brakes or a V6 with the performance package.
