1608?

Picked up my '14 GTCS back in December. Bought it off a dealer lot. Has the numbers "1608" on the top of the front bumper by the driver side headlight. Check the net and found nothing about it. Any clue what it means?

It's probably a registry # for either California Specials or the color of your car. Neither registry is directly connected to Ford.....it's kind of like a club.

I would say your Mustang is number 1608 in a California Special club or registry . Just a guess....

If your Mustang is silver, it could be the registry number for a silver Mustang club.

Ford made approximately 3100 GT/CS coupes in 2014 and each is numbered, but you have to order the certificate from Ford to find out the cars build number. My guess is the previous owner did that, found out the cars number and had a sticker made up and put it on the bumper similar to what they do on Saleens
