13-14 GT/CS hood stripe removal
Anyone remove the hood stripes from their CS? Id like to see some pics of a black CS without the hood stripes.
I think I want to pull mine but would like to see a picture if someone has done it.

I got the louvers from Mustang Depot. Prepainted and attach to the glass and not the paint.

Removing Stripes
You can try uping a hair dryer and then slowly pull them off. A friend of mine just removed his decals from the back of his 2011 GT CS using this technique.
A shop that does wraps or tints can do it with a steamer they have.
This should not be an issue for you. Just noting that an installer told me that if a car has been repainted removing the vinyl can possibly lift the paint!.
The post of the black GT CS with stripes removed really looks nice.

never even crossed my mind. The CS is an appearance package. Why pay the extra money then remove what makes it look like a CS ?

Personally I never really liked the stripes for the CS, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I knew from the start that I was going to remove them and replace them with something a bit...bolder.

I have toyed with the idea of adding red GT500 stripes on my black CS but they would clash with the silver stripes. What you have might work with red racing stripes.
