Will 2010-14 TMPS sensors communicate with a 2008 GT

Will 2010-14 TMPS sensors communicate with a 2008 GT? The time has come and I have a set of rims laying around but want to stay away from the band TPMS type.

Will 2010 - 14 TPMS sensors communicate with a 2008?

I believe that the valve stem is threaded for the 2010+ sensors. Will they fit 2005-2009 rims?

OEM 2010-2014 sensors won't work with the older cars.

There are some aftermarket sensors that supposedly work, but the aftermarket sensors I've tried have given me issues in other ways. Sometimes getting error messages after driving on the highway a while.
I prefer OEM sensors, I find them quite affordable on eBay for a set of 4.
