Steel Wheels for 2015 BT without Brembos
Hi, all. I'll be taking delivery on a 2015 GT Premium non-PP in a month, and would like to fit 16"-17" wheels with skinny snows on it for the winter - would prefer 7" max width for maximum snow contact patch.
I know Crown Vic steel rims have the same 5x4.5 bolt pattern: A) will they fit over standard 2015 GT brakes, and B) is the Crown Vic's offset the same?
If not, will the 2010 - 2014 17" Mustang wheels fit my 2015, and will their offset work for the new car?
I appreciate any help with this information: this car will be my daily driver, and last year's winter in Pennsylvania really, really sucked, even in a front- drive Scion tC.

From what I have read, all '15 GT's will have Brembos.
The standard set-up will be the 14" set-up that was optional previously, and the Track/Perf Pack cars will get the GT500's 15"/6-piston Brembo set-up
Which would make it so the minimum wheel size would be 18" that would fit over those 14" Brembos. I don't think there are any steel wheel options for that, but I'd check with the Tire Rack and see what they offer for the '15. If they don't list anything on their site, call them up

What Gabe said. ^ You're gonna need at least 18's and/or wheels designed to clear big brake kits...which cheap wheels aren't usually designed for.
I live in Texas, so I don't have to worry about this...But are skinnies really the best setup for snow?
Here's some brake info that I dug up real quick: http://m.automobilemag.com/features/...brake-systems/

Although, a set of Police Interceptor 18" steelies with a spacer might work...
