Hey All,

Finally got my Mustang off the boat from Europe and was eager to see if the CCWs from my RX-7 would fit. Looked like it was gonna work too until I figured out that the wheel bearing cover on the Mustang was a couple MMs wider in diameter.

Gonna call CCW tomorrow to see if they can just sent me different center caps for a reasonable price or if I have to give up on using these wheels.

Wondering if anyone has experience with this? This is a really crappy pic, sorry, but this is the inside of the centercap... wonder if I can get it machined out to fit over the larger bearing caps...

Any thoughts?

 

I thought there was someone who found a thinner bearing cap. I don't see why you couldn't either do that or get a custom spacer made to clear those 3mm or so.
