Wheel & tire size

Wanting to run a staggered set up, I got some numbers to run 19x9.5/10 front and 19x11 in the back. Can someone with a staggered set up share numbers or give recommendations? I had Konig Oversteer 18x8 +35mm squared with 225/40 tires. a thicker sidewall would be much appreciated, thank you

I have 255/40 19 on 19X9 42mm 6.7" backspacing front and 295/35 19 on 19X10 47.5mm 7.36" backspacing rear. I do not know how much backspacing you can run on the front so watch out and make sure a 10 inch wheel will fit.
There are a few wheels that do fit the front where you can go 10 inch, you will need to find Vorshlag's older posts since they were the masters at running wide on the front and rear.

what car do you have?
what "numbers" are you looking for?
what is the main usage of the car; what is the purpose of the wheel/tire change?
when you say "thicker sidewall" you mean a taller tire with more sidewall, correct? (not an "Extra Load" or "XL" rated sidewall/tire)

i have a 2014 3.7 L V6, I think i've settled on 19x9 in the front and 19x10 in the back so essentially im just looking for the thickest sidewall I could run without rubbing and still have clearance to lower. I hope that makes sense.

When you say "thick sidewall" I assume you are talking about the amount of rubber that you see when you look at the wheel/tire; not the actual thickness of the sidewall rubber which is something different.

The original/standard tire outer diameter on these cars (S197 2005-2014) is 27.2" and if you stay close to that, there should not be any issues with rubbing, with moderate lowering like 1-1.5" (assuming the wheel offset is correct)

275/40-19 will fit nicely on the 10" rear wheels and the diameter is about 27.7" (varies a little by make and model of tire)

For the front you could go with 255/45-19 which is a little taller at 28" ; or 255/40-19 which is a little shorter at 27"

You can look up other sizes on TireRack.com and check the "specs" tab for the tire diameter and also the recommended wheel rim width.

The 255/40 19 is the Stock size that came on my car and the 295/35 was the size that was closest to it. At one point I was running 285/40 19's on the rear and 275/40 19 on the front.
