Replacing the stock dampers with practically any performance dampers will take care of a good majority of the floaty feeling.

All the other upgrades mentioned should be considered and weighed against how you want the car to handle/drive on a daily basis. Adjustable shocks bring more to the table, giving you the flexibility to run the suspension a little softer for daily driving, or firmer for spirited driving.

I agree. While I like lowering cars, I have had friends that have just changed struts to performance parts on stock springs. While these were European cars, I don't think the result would be entirely different on a stang. It works. If you want to keep your height and clearance, I think it's a good option.

i've been thinking about too. to me, the floaty nature seems like struts would be the way to go. to me the stock sways on the gt seem good enough to control the roll in the corners at least in daily driving. you definitely have to have a good balance between struts and springs, you could have too stiff a spring for the struts or too stiff a strut for the springs. for some reason i keep leaning towards struts thinking that'll calm things down a bit. and koin is no bologna when it comes to struts.
