Question on pairing springs with Koni Yellows

Hey guys so I am getting ready to purchase a set of Koni Yellow shocks and struts and am running into a few hurdles. The first being that I currently have eibach sportline springs already installed on my 2014 track pack GT. Now I know that eibach makes separate sportline springs for a 2011-2014 car (which I have) and a set of sport line springs for the 05-10 cars. I did some research and found that if I want to do the gt500 strut mounts that everyone recommends doing, then I have to pair them with a koni strut that is from a 05-10 mustang. My main question is could I actually run my current eibachs which are designed for an 11-14 strut to work with the 05-10 strut? The next question if I i cannot run this spring in a 05-10 strut then what top mount would you guys recommend to purchase that is not the oem crappy one which can be used with the 11-14 struts.

Thanks in advance!

I think you can run 05-10 struts with your eibachs as long as you use the GT500 mounts. I think the difference in struts is that 11-14 are a bit longer, and the GT500 mounts make up the height difference.

I have Koni Yellows (11-14) with Steeda Sports springs (also 11-14) and I use the Steeda HD mounts. I wanted camber adjustment beyond what the GT500 mounts allowed, and I'm really happy with how this turned out.

I would recommend for your own piece of mind to contact Koni and Ford performance parts, as they would know better than anyone else.. If you find out that you can't use them, then I would consider going with Steeda HD mounts that are designed and engineered for a 2011-14 Mustang..

Okay awesome thanks for the info guys, So the steeda mounts are comparable with the 11-14 struts? If so I might end up ordering those plus its good that they are adjustable.. Also any other things I should buy in accordance with the struts and shocks? I hear people getting the FRPP bumpstops however I already have my ones that came with my sportlines and are trimmed. What else would be needed?

I really can't think of anything else you would need off hand.. Being as you already have bumpstops from your sportlines, you can go ahead and re-use them with no problem.. If your interested in Steeda competition adjustable strut mounts, you'll find the link posted below along with the Steeda HD non-adjustable mounts..
