Someone is selling their Brembo kit from a GT500. I currently have a 2013 V6. He isn't selling the rotors just the calipers and lines. Would Ineed new rotors to make this work? What other parts are necessary to make this work? Thanks!

You would need the 14 or 15 inch rotors to fit the caliper and then you would also need wheels to fit the new rotors and calipers.

Of course you would need new rotors.

You will also need new wheels (and tires) that will clear the big brakes.

I've got 20" wheels. 20x8.5 square setup.

brake pads included? look up the brembo kit on american muscle or another site and check the parts list. Go from there

Yeah you will need rotors and pads for sure. Probably also dust shields unless you want brake dust sprayed all over the underside of your car and fender liners. They also make a brake duct kit that replaces the dust shields so you can go that route.

As far as the wheels, we need more info on whether the brakes will fit or not. Do you have the model info, including offsets?

Yeah, just because you have 20" wheels doesn't necessarily mean they will clear the Brembos, they need a lot of clearance behind the spokes.

Also, does the caliper kit come with brackets?

Brembo calipers have the bracket built into the caliper, no separate bracket required.

I had just upgraded my stang with 4 piston Brembos and 20" rims/tires. I got the used set that included front left and right brake pads, calipers, brake lines, rotors and dust covers. What I found out during install is the length of the brake lines. Double check the length you need. I bought the carbon fiber brake lines only to find out they're too short to work on my 2011 mustang. Also keep in mind, your spare tire in the trunk will need to be upgraded to clear Brembos if you're using it as a daily driver like I am. The choice is yours.

Man those 20"s look so small in that wheel well! I hate how on these new cars, you have to have 24" wheels just to fill up the wells....

It's not the wheels, it's the tires and the level the car sits at.

And I think all the 20" and larger wheel diameters look goofy.

Heck, if my car hadn't come with 19's I sure wouldn't have put even that big a wheel on it.

I hear ya'll. These were old pics . I'm getting rims powdercoated glossy black and putting beefier tires to fill wheel well. These rims were originally on a 350z and had 245/30/20s front and 275/30/20s rear. I'm getting 245/35/20 front and 275/40/20 rear. Won't be for another week unfortunately.

I hope you realize that as soon as you put a proper sized tire on the back, those rears will no longer fit, and the fronts will be pushing the limits as well

Just assuming the fronts have a 20mm offset and the rears are as 25mm offset?

I really hate to break it to you honey, but wheels for a 350Z do not fit on a Mustang.

It seems like with every mod you do, you're 80% there, but half assing it on the back end.

You get '13 taillights, but get the wrong kind. instead of getting the right ones, you brute force it till they work, kinda.

While in the shop for the same cost you for some reason don't push the idea of going with a '13 bumper that fits the tail lights, instead go with the '12s.

I feel that rather than making a really nice looking Mustang, you're cheaping out on it at every turn, and it kinda shows.

I like what I've done so far.

As for the rims, they're still in the shop. They're taking a little longer as I chose to have them polish the rims and then clear coat. Here's a pic.
