Pro-Kit or Sportline?
I understand that, I'm coming from a DD charger that at its highest point was 2" off the ground but that was on a coilover, I'm not sure of what I want out of the mustang yet so I was looking for some stories from both sides on ride quality, how LOW the mustang goes and some pictures so I can compare them, this is just till I pick a permanent option.
I originally purchased the ebay Roush/Dub/Pro's but after seeing more pics I decided to to go lower.
Sportlines with Koni STR.T's and BMR adjustable panhard bar. Ride is suprisingly compliant, very impressed. Only slightly rougher than the OE Brembo suspension and attribute most of this to the Koni's.
Haven't scraped anything. Everything is tucked up much better on these newer cars compared to previous gens.

Mine would look gorgeous like that, but my driveway say no..
My driveway has a pretty aggressive curb and the guys garage I did my exhaust in had a steep approach/lip and I've never scraped. I've rubbed the lowest front rubber deflector but never the facia or anything else. Everything is tucked up pretty well under these cars
So I'm in a similar boat to the OP...which to choose, Pro-Kit or Sportlines? Any pro's and con's to both? What drop can we expect from each? Able to use stock shocks or need drop shocks for the install? What about panhard bars to be used with them?
I've found both for decent pricing, but haven't seen what drop each are and what the advantages of either are over the other. I appreciate the feedback, thanks!

You are going to be happy with either set if you are going from stock. I went with sportlines personally as i wanted a pretty aggressive drop.
The prokit springs are not much of a drop at all but perform very good(probably better than the sportlines) The prokit is almost like a leveling kit as it ends up giving you the same wheel gap front and back as opposed to the rake it has factory. If you were just looking at the front wheel you probably wouldn't even know the car had lowering springs installed.
I used my factory struts when i first installed my sportlines since i wanted to get some use out of the stock dampers. I've put about 10k on them since and one of my rear shocks is starting to go now because of the lowering. (ive got strt sitting here waiting to go in)
I have yet to scrape anything at all which is surprising because it is a pretty aggressive drop but I'm very use to driving slammed vehicles.

I've as well used the sportlines on my 2010 GT i went with a 1.6 in the front and 2.0 in the rear. i was aiming for a drastic drop and acheived it with the sportlines. I also chanced all to the sway bars panhard bar and rear links all eibach i ordered it as a kit from AM. Got to say the car now handles like its on rails definately alot more coffidence in my ride. Performance side of it it is awsome as far as the ride its alittle stiffer not that terriable a small price to pay for the increased enjoyment. As they say YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY...Lmao

I believe the sportline states 1.7" front and 2" rear and the pro kit is 1'' front and 1.5'' rear. Personally, I'd always hear the Pro Kit is the best handling/daily driving so that's what I went with. I'm happy w/ it for sure
If you're driveway ramp is one if those rolled curbs that are so popular nw, check out bridgit curb ramps. I'm getting a set for mine.
It depends on what your aiming for?? Just to lower it you can change just the springs, Bumpstops, and panhard bar is the cheaper way to go if your just using it as a DD. In my case mine isn't driven everyday and i was aiming for performance.. I droped it 1.7 in the front is what they claim and 2 in the rear. i did the full kit from AM. It included new springs, shocks, struts, bumpstops, and swaybars. I bought a BMR panhard and lower links bar also from AM. AM really deliverd with good pricing and quick shipping. Word or advice give them a call if you intend to order from them. Hope this helps..
