I have the red one in. Everything I read said put in the black one if you are only doing the bracket. I did the red one because I was very concerned about noise. I would bet yours has a better feel. If we ever make it out to a meet, you can drive my car and see what you think.

Lol. Ok. Let me know what you think. I've regretted not being more aggressive and using the other insert. I've been too lazy to swap them. Your opinion on it may force me to swap it or just leave it alone.

 

Well, here's the lowdown - you will get some improvement in shifting over the red bushing, but at the expense of noise. You may find that one outweighs the other.
