Ford Racing Adjustable Suspension
I really don't think they're really that pricey, especially if you do your own install. My dealer charged me $750 for the install, alignment and they included the FRPP Sport Axleback muffler install. The Handling Pack includes extras like a Strut Tower Brace, GT500 Top Strut mounts, Jounce Stops, all new fasteners ...etc. Look at what my system included ... Handling Pack Includes: Struts/Shocks M-18000-A Lowering Springs M-5300-N Jounce Stops M-5570-A Sway Bars M-5490-C Strut Mounts M-18183-C -(GT500) Strut Tower Brace M-20201-F
I wanted to stay with whatever FR sold for the warranty. I did add the $2495 extra 3 year warranty, but only after I said no and then he lowered the price to $1495. So they said all the work they do will be covered for 6 years instead of 3 years. I also like that FR also sells (thru the dealer) the Tremec T56 if the time comes to add a new transmission, or supercharger or anything else. Once out of warranty, then I can get things fixed somewhere else. There is a auto shop that is one mile from my house that also races and does the best work I have ever seen....detail, detail, detail. Or I can even go to Hennessey who I know personally to get things done who offers 3 year warranty. I like that the Mustang has so many options for the owner.
I had the dealer install my FRPP handling pack (non-adjustable). I bought it from them to get the full warranty. The car had 4 miles on it when it was installed
Why?
There are threads here complaining about suspension NVH issues. It's nice to know that if any component develops an issue, I am comfortable knowing that it's on Ford to resolve it.

If you dont want feedback...dont post on public forums. The op seems to understand that just fine. You see... my perception of wasting money is just that...clearly the op has a different mind set and thats ok. I never said he was wrong or stupid. I stated what my opinion was backed up with why I felt that way. It's not rude to disagree. I can see why you think its rude, its because you might fit into a quadrant of people who dont value feedback unless its praise, and aviod conflict at all cost. Thats all ok too... every individual is different and we all have our opinions. How we react to those opinions defines our communication skills and our comminication skills define how we adapt to various social settings. I totally get it.
Noise Issue - Resolution
First, I want to say I love this suspension too. I have the adjustable version and I installed it myself. Pricing seems all over the map, so keep in mind, shop well and you can negotiate with your distributor. If a dealer tries to tell you, " They can't discount it because they make so little profit on it Ford Racing parts." walk away. I heard that most and I still found someone else who will cut prices. Of course, the Internet is a great solution too.
My point for this post is a noise I noticed from the Eibach-sourced anti-roll bars that come with this kit (albeit painted blue with FR logo). The rear suspension had a noise when making turns with bumps. I pulled parts out to check. Seems the aluminum mounting bracket on the rear roll bar, at the top mount, uses an M12 bolt through the metal bushing sleeve. I bought my own 1/2" bolts...much better fit. The OE bolt is an M12 and I think Eibach just matched the bolt...mistake in my opinion. They should have matched their own steel bushing sleeve. At any rate, if you hear a noise like I have, it could be simple bolt swap. Shouldn't be the case, but at least it's easy to do. It seems to have fixed the noise. I believe the bushing/bracket was moving up and down during bar flexing in turns and subsequently that metal sleeve was banging on the smaller diameter bolt. Haven't heard the noise since.
As an aside, I think the rear damper rubber bushings are lame. The top bushing totally flattens out and the threads "bottom out" on the damper shaft. I ended up using the OE top bushing instead. I thought this may have been the source of my noise, but alas, the roll bar mount was it. Still very lame bushings on the damper all the same.

Does anyone have an opinion of the FRPP pack vs the Maximum motorsports road and track pack? I have a 2012 GT, pretty much stock except for pads and tires, and looking for a upgrade on suspension. DD with 5, 6 track days a year. All opinions welcome.
MM suspension kit is a much better package than the FRPP kit. We offer a kit very similar to the MM package as well, more options and adjustable with better dampening struts and shocks equal a much better system.
Sway bars, springs, and bump stops. Oh and strut mounts. The fr package uses the gt500 strut mounts.
I'm thinking about the same FR adjustable suspension as the OP, but I don't want to lower the car any (if you saw my driveway you'd understand). Is there that big of a difference between the Brembo pkg. springs and the FR springs?
You are looking at a one inch drop with the Ford racing springs. They also have an inch and a half drop option too. I've read about folks using the Ford racing/ tokico shocks and struts with good results. The koni sports and brembo springs also have received good reviews. I have koni sports and love them. I believe the konis are on sale right now. I bought through Jay at hypermotive and couldn't be happier with the price and service.
