This can't be right -- Steeda Ultralite Install

I've installed my steeds springs, Koni shocks, and an adjustable pan hard bar. Everything looked okay but when I took it for a test drive I heard rattling in the rear. Pulled over and tightened the pan hard bar nuts as they may have been only hand tightened. As I kept driving I still heard the rattling. When I pulled into the drive way the car seemed to hit hard. Which sounded like a potential spring problem. Upon inspection, the springs seem much more compressed than they should be.

What's the issue? Do you think they were installed upside down? What other issue could I have? Thanks for your help guys!

Wow those springs are really compressed, I have steeda sport springs and they don't look anything like that on mine!
Who has ultralights on here that can tell if this looks right!

According to what I found, the tighter wound part of the coil goes towards the top. Someone else installed them and said after calling Steeda that's what they were told. Hope that helps.

You will need to flip them over , you got it upside down.

Upside down or not I don't think a spring should ever sit compressed like that?

Yep, you have them upside down. The smaller portion of the spring should be facing the axle so it fits in nicely to the spring perch on the axle.

Well, looked like that did the trick.

I flipped the springs and hit the top of the shocks with the impact wrench a couple more times. Now it rides like a dream . Thanks for all the help gents. Pictures will come soon.
