Bilsteins with Ford racing P springs vs Brembo OEM
I made this change for my street driven car and was very pleased with the outcome. All the shortcomings of the Brembo package on my 2011 where gone. I corner much better. I also have better traction after doing several 1st through 3rd 7k runs. I do feel the road surface more but it actually is a type of feedback that connects you to your driving experience. On the expressway it is super smooth. I did install the spring insulators on the P springs on the front struts with the 500 mounts. I also reused the pin type rubber mounts on the rear shocks. No noticeable clunks and the install went without a hitch.
Bilsteins dont get enough love IMO!
I had the Koni oranges for about 3,000 miles before I switched to the Bilsteins....had them on my 97 and loved them. Definitely a firmer ride, but in a good way. Glad you are liking your set up!

Glad to hear those are working well for you!
Have been looking at Bilstein/P spring set-up as well - although might go with the Vorshlag set-up as a package with the CC plates.
Did you measure the drop by chance? Supposed to be 1 inch with P Springs but suppose results may vary...just curious what your experience is with them.
Looking to improve handling - but - have to limit the drop (driveway and our streets).

I didn't measure as it would depend on the level of fuel. I know I wouldn't want it any lower. I was concerned more with the axle shift. The stock was off about a 1/2 inch and lowering it it remained the same. I'm going for a pan hard bar to fix the shift. Moving it 1/4 inch doesn't seem that much if only for peace of mind. The car runs strait and no unusual tire wear. I didn't think CC plates were needed unless you track your car. The 500 mounts work great for a street car.
