I'd say a large portion of Mustang sales come from CA, FL and BC, Canada, but TX, MI and IL surely make up just as much, if not more of the total sales. Just from what I've seen, as I have traveled extensively throughout the states. That's also considering fleet sales to the rental companies which stock a lot of V6 cars on the coasts and southern states...

This is getting close. The issue isn't the car not being low enough. It's the huge wheel gap that is absent on the BMW's or the Pontiac GTO and G8's also didn't have that problem.

The cause are the ridiculous concept cars and drawings to get the desired look we want with the concept's 20+" wheels, it's impossible to keep the same look with a normal sized wheel and tire combo. The 27" dia. of the current combo is pretty big.

The reason we get the huge fender gap is because we Americans are designing the car to look a certain way that's flashy and exciting, then we try to execute the design down to a budget. If the fender has to match the concept, your stuck with the idiotic gap you currently have on our cars. It's not the ride height, it's the stupid size of the fender opening.

My car. Pardon the crappy blurriness of the picture. It's the only one I can find right now.

I agree 100%. The stock boss 2013 rims make it look REAL cheap.

Wow, that Eclipse does have like 5" between tire and fender. Maybe factory ride on the Mustang isn't so bad?? I like how mine looks and it is factory!

Yep. That's with stock 225/50-17 wheel tires. And any drop to fix it has to be about 2.5 inches and like 245/45-19 wheels. Still leaves a gap but isn't as bad. But car looks slammed and will drag on slightest bumps The fenders are just weird. I can't wait to get my 2013!

If you need snow chain you should not be driving a mustang...

My mustang lives in a garage in the winter, I do not need salt ripping the frame and body apart....that's why I have my other toy

Amen. I'll go one step further and say my stang lives in the garage during rain too. Hell sometimes even during cloudy 20% chance of rain. Lol

that sounds boring. I buy a new car every year pretty much. Now that I live in pheonix I will never have to worry about snow again. They are not the next barret jackson cars. I am not saying do not take good care of them. Just saying have fun with them.

1+! My old '83 Capri was converted from a 4 banger to a v-8 auto and a 3.73 posi and with regular tires I went through snow deeper than the floor pan and never got stuck!

Where we live we get over 100inches a year and my car drives me to work everyday since it's my daily driver. Should I walk to work?

They could just add more body metal to cover the gap, but keep the geometry the same, let tires tuck in under hard load. then you have confortable ride + good stance, its prolly what BMW does.
