2013 V6 brake rotor / pad upgrade

I am looking for an upgrade for my front brakes primarily and need some suggestions. I am looking for a set that is affordable and capable enough for some prolonged high speed rides.
I ve been looking into powerstop sets, stoptech drilled / slotted rotors with hawk pads, powerslot rotors and so on. But I still don't have a clue which set I should take?!?

Autoanything has 20% off on StopTech rotors which are a good brand. If you just did the front with Hawk pads it would be ~$260 or all four corners for ~$420 w/ pads. It's what I bought to go with my Brembos. Haven't installed them yet tho.

Hawk hp are a good street pad. Good initial bite and reasonable fade resistance. Hp plus are worthy of auto-x and will make a bit of noise on the street but are super grippy. Not up for track duty with a mustang but sounds like that's not something your concerned with. Don't recommend drilled as the drilling create stress risers. Slotted are good but overkill for the street

Well I guess I'll have a closer look at the power slot rotors or maybe the Bear rotors offered at CJPonyparts.
I don't think the slotted ones are an overkill, my standard cruise speed at the 'Autobahn' is around 100mph and that's why I need an upgrade. I am already using ceramic pads and DOT4 brake fluid, but it is not enough for my way to drive. On curved roads during a fun ride a bit more stopping power is needed .

Fair enough - for a reference point I use OEM rotors at the track along with. Motul RBF600 (excellent fluid if you haven't used it before) and Pagid pads. They are street able bu they take a little heat before they offer full grip. Once they are at temp though I can engage abs at 130+ pretty easily. Could consider that route if you want a serious setup.

Considered the ford racing brake cooling setup? It works very well. My rear brakes get hotter than the fronts now at the track

Brake cooling is definitely on the list but I didn't know that there is a kit out there. I was thinking of a kit myself. I was thinking about getting set of fog light bezels and adding some kind of tubing to the brakes, but an easy to use kit might be the better choice.
The pads I am using need a little heat to, but than I don't think the stock rotors can take that much energy. That is my concern!
But which set should I get, the power slots or the drilled/slotted bear once? And what about the hawk pads?

Finally I decided to go with the StopTech drilled front rotors combined with Hawk pads. Hope that does the job the way I want!

Does anyone have the Posi ceramic quiet pads? Autoanything has the kit of StopTech drilled or even drilled slotted front rotors as a pack on sale. Are those Posi pads o.k. or are there any issues?

Dun know about Posi Pads. Hawk HP is a good pad...but they squeal like little piggies under light braking...which is pretty much every stop while street driving or at least mine do. If superior braking is not a factor maybe consider the Hawk ceramic pad...it is still an upgrade from a stock pad and you get less noise and dust.

Well I decided to go with an intermediate update, installed some ceramic pads which are an improvement over the stock ones.
I delayed the rest cause I just ordered a set of Borla axle backs!
