what's the difference between Kona and dib?

what's the difference between Kona and dib?
I haven't seen them side by side. They look about identical. What's the difference in color between the two?

they do not look close. ones more purple and the other is more mid night blue.

Kona was first, therefore is better! LOL. But seriously, its 6 of one, half dozen of another. DIB is just a lighter shade of Kona Blue. And only slightly. To each his own but if I traded my kona in right now I wouldn't get DIB but only because i would rather have a color that isn't dirty 5 minites after detailing!

Kona blue is a bit darker blue than DIB, and it does have a hint of indigo to it.

My DIB has plenty of Indigo but I think Kona is a smidge darker.

That is a good description. I have a 12 Kona GT and my brother has a 13 DIB six banger. I like my kona better, but thats personal choice.

I have a '12 Kona V6 and happy to meet up somewhere for a side by side shoot. I'm curious about this too. I have good camera gear.
