Steve, nice looking car. Blue & black is my favorite color combination.

Do your tinted the rear reflectors still reflect light? Since the tail lights are LED, they don't reflect any light. The reflectors on the back are there to meet federal regulations. Depending on your local law enforcement, they may award you a nice fine if you have no reflectors back there.

Yes they do still reflect enough light that you know they are reflectors. Thanks for the tip. My neighbor is a cop and he said they are fine. He's a Mustang guy too.

Santa just brought me the 5" wide GT500 style track pack stripes from American Muscle that I wanted in metallic silver. I have most of the sections measured out and marked. I just need the time to install them. Should be fun. Pictures when I start the install and have some.

Wow. Those stripes are going to look great on the already beautiful car. This is quickly becoming one of my most favorite colors. Very photogenic I'd say. Post up pics when you have the stripes on!

Here are the pics from my exterior thread about the stripes. They turned out great. I'm super happy and the install wasn't as hard as you would think. Takes a bit of patience and attention to detail.

Those look great. The 4th picture (closeup) looks like a single blue stripe on silver paint. Good job!

Thanks. I had fun installing them and also seeing people's reactions driving around.

I would be happy to help you out with that but I won't be here. The Mistress and I are heading the Europe next week.

So tomorrow I have to put the Mistress on a very large ship for about 6-8 weeks. I will document the process in case anyone else is going to do this. Shes headed to Germany for a few years. I will be really surprised if I see any 2013 GTs there let alone a TP car. Cheers.

So I have been in Europe for a little over a month and walking everywhere I go. This is for the birds. I am close to everything from where I live thankfully but I really am getting anxious for my ride to get here already. She should be here shortly. Next week or the week after. I'm just praying that the weather breaks soon so I can get her registered and inspected without having to buy a set of winter tires and save myself $900 in the process.

I just received the email saying that my car has made it to my location. Too bad that they aren't open this weekend because of the Federal holiday or I would have some new pictures of her. I plan on taking pics of the whole process of picking her up. I'm still waiting for my front plate bracket from JLT to get here so I won't have to poke any holes in the bumper.

This was the last time I saw her before she made the trip.

Soon she will be back in my care and hopefully without any additional wounds from the trip.

I finally found decent insurance to cover me in Europe. I'm saving $100 by getting local insurance instead of going through USAA in the states. It sucks that they are going to lose my business for this car. They still have me for the other ride that my wife is cruising around in back there. All I have left to do is get my safety equipment that is mandatory, take my front plate "No Drill" bracket with me and get my plates. Then it's off to get my girl back from purgatory. Pictures to follow.

I just picked up a Barton shifter on ebay. I'm looking into getting a pool ball shift **** with the Seattle Seahawks logo on it for the car too since the colors are almost the same. Should be awesome!

So I have been driving around and really like the feel of the Barton shifter, even with the stock bracket. I got my permanent plates for Bavaria today. The inspector was more worried about the stats for the new model than looking at my car. Took a look under the hood for less time than it took him to get it open. He liked the exhaust and was surprised it was the stock system.

Here is how my day ends. I spent three hours cleaning my car only to have Mother Nature foil my plans.

Nice car, Steve. Love it! But I have to say I'm a bit biased. I have pretty much the same car with an automatic

Thanks. I would be biased too since it's the best color ever.
