Why thank you ever so much Sir, certainly not up to Shelby standards, but somewhat praiseworthy, thanks again Bill.

let the modding begin......... NOW!!!!

Get some hood struts to save the scratches you'll get on the plastic piece under the hood that the prop bar rubs on. it was my 1st mod!!

Never done the modification thing, thinking about axelback exhausts, maybe a stripe or two (want to let the color grow on me for a while) certainly don't want to invalidate the warranty! Did you have a shop do the struts? How much? If not, what's involved?

hood struts took all of 10 minutes in my garage with a simple socket set. Just eliminates the hood prop rod but looks so much cleaner when the hood is up. Got mine thru CJPonyParts....was on sale at the time.

David,
you were right on for the hood struts, took me five minutes, relocating the "Sound" hose was a little awkward, but worked out great! Thanks again, I think I'm going to order the Roush Axelback exhaust today.

The Roush axelbacks have issues with rusting from the inside out. My local parts manager has informed they refuse to order them anymore until Roush gets the problem corrected. He has already replaced them (3) times for one customer in less than a year.

i went with the Boss 302 side exhaust kit

What do you suggest? (you seem to know a lot and I 'm a Rookie in the Mustang thing) But i don't want side exhaust and I don't want drone at highway speeds, I would like throaty, but the Pype Bombs seem too loud, I would like something in between, thoughts Sir?

A lot of people have gone with the Ford GT500 axle backs and love the sound...plus they are fairly cheap.
