Love the color. I have a second quarter build for a GHIG.
I do have one question though. The nose stripes in picture 7 look a little bubbly. Is this the problem that was holding them up? Am I the only one noticing that?

88saleen544- great pix! question; it's my understanding the blank inserts in the faux foglights are designed to easily be removed / popped out with a screwdriver (new for MY '13s), have you had a chance to ck this out and if so can you provide pix? thx.

You are definitely not the only one. This is one of the few cars that made it out before the hold. I am waiting on parts to be available to have the dealer fix that.

I haven't actually tried or done it myself, but there is a fairly apparent spot on the bottom middle of them that looks perfect for a flathead screwdriver to pop them right out.

Are those tweaked in photoshop? Looks nothing like GHIG in person.

neh. Its spot on. I seen a GTHIG today on the showroom floor.
I think the key to photographing it outdoors is having a very good camera
(almost willing to bet he took these with an iphone) and take it right as the sun going down in lower light but just some sunlight left. Should take awesome pics. I am still trying to make up my mind though after seeing the GTHIG in person, and seeing the new MY 13 Race Red photos today..
Thats why I keep looking back at this thread so I can make my mind up.
Question to the OP. I am being serious here. Do people look at your car for it being a mustang or for it being a unique color or combination of both?
Myself, I like the color as I dare to be different and I will say if you have never seen this color it is defiantly different for sure! I am just so burned out on buying typical color cars year after year...

I saw it at Barrett Jackson. I don't remember it looking like that. Must be the darker lighting. I prefer the color in OP's pic.

No iphone here, this is with my Sony Alpha SLR camera. But yeah, photographing this color is **** hard. I did have to do some adjusting to the pictures in PS. Slight adjustments to exposure and black levels to help it be more accurate to what it looks like in person, although some came out more accurate than others. The shot of the hood is a good example of how the color comes out in pictures normally. The rear end shot where the light is hitting the corner (next to my shadow, doh!) is very accurate to the color as it almost appears to have slight gold flakes in the metallic when the light hits it.

As for your question, Its hard to say. The color is what surely gets the most attention when driving by, but I haven't run into many people while out. Getting my first tank of gas the other day one guy was asking if its a real Boss, but that's it. That being said, the color has to be the first thing to get people to turn their heads. I'll have it in a mustang club car display at a local dealer on Saturday, I'll probably see more that way by then.

Not for sure if it has gold speckle or not, but I noticed the same thing under inside lighting. Maybe this has been discussed not sure.
