Latest additions of green

Recently did a few little green mods to my GHIG, the first was I died the stitching on my recaro seats and the rest of the stitching green, and then I had a sticker made for the rear window that says "It's not easy beeing green".

I used fabric mate pens that I purchased off amazon, they're like $3.00 a piece, and I bought 3 of them. It took me about 4 hours total to do all of the seats and the steering wheel. I get tons of compliments and everyone thinks I ordered the car like that or had the seats re sewn with green thread.

Nice, I did that stitching to mine also but I've yet to see this done on recaros, and a lot of people were asking me if I thought it would work. Looks great

How many miles do you have on your car? That bolster is starting to wear!

All Mustangs that I've seen with Recaros have bolsters with these "folds" in the leather, I don't believe its because of wear, mostly its the leathers quality, and that its not stretched enough to give it a smooth surface.

It's called Lime green. And I have 14500 miles on the clock. I think the stretched leather has a little to do with the way I get out of the car, I recently had both of my knees replaced and I was putting my hand on the bolster to help lift my butt out of the car.

It seems that most of the GHIG cars have leather Recaros for some reason. Not that I am complaining .

That's some really nice work there. I think you've convinced me to give this a try.
