dropped my GHIG

before drop

new parts (LCA and relocation brackets and adjustable panhard bar)

shifter bracket (stock vs aftermarket)

in this pic you see a box that is where the shifter bracket connects to. what causes the 3rd gear mis shift is the stock bracket is rubber and the box moves inside that rubber and the factory shift linkage line goes inside that bracket and by that box moving it mis aligns the shift causing you to miss the gear

after drop

the car now has no more wheel hop and now it hooks better. no body roll and it handles like an import, lol. the relocation brackets changed the pinion angle downward resulting in making the tires dig in the ground and gain traction. i also no longer miss 3rd gear. all in all it was well worth it. the car feels more planted and is actually faster because it no longer hops. i will also be making a minor adjustment to the LCA. i put it on the top notch and i later found out that was for stock ride height. i will be moving the LCA to the middle hole.

Like the drop, but think I'd love it if there was a bit of take with the rear just less than .5" higher.

The point of lowering it was to level out the rear with the front. The jacked up rear just looks bad imo.

The nose up look is worse. IMO the rear needs to be a little higher than the front

Well this is why people can modify their Mustang to their liking. As with artwork you're lucky if half the people like it. It looks like you plasti-dipped your rims? As for the drop I personally think it looks like you have a fat person hiding in the trunk, but then again I prefer the back to be a little higher. Love the detailed post though.

i just cant understand why people like the rear jacked waay high on a stang. if you can see the tire thru the fenderwell from standing 10ft away that is unacceptable to me. not only does it look dumb, it hinders handling.

Ok maybe the picture you posted above on the hill with the angled lines was messing with me. The picture you JUST posted above my post looks really nice.
