It should be cool. I'll be riding with the Las Vegas Mustang Club. I'm gonna try to get some pics and video. I have a feeling we'll be limited on speed, though. There is rumor of a pace car.

 

You know, I went to the Grand Am race last summer at Laguna Seca and did the "Parade Lap." You got to cruise around the track a couple of times at lunchtime between races. I figured we be paced around 40 or so since no one had helmets on. We hit 80 at one point but certainly not like an open track day.If it's anything like my experience get there early. The early birds are usually closest to the pace car and at the very least you're less likely to get stuck behind someone slow.

Here's a pretty bad vid my dad took while sitting shotgun and (since it's a Race Red thread) a pic of one of the times cruising with the Shelby Club. Mustangs with more power than my Boss as far as the eye can see.. at least until down to the Grabber Blue car, but then more supercharged GT 500s, GT 350s, KRs, and Shelby GTs after that! So much fun.

 

That's not me. My Brembo rims are still stock and will remain that way. I drove my stang on 12-31. It's been parked since then. The streets need to be completely dry and weather in the 40's before I will take her out again.

I saw the mods in your sig. Did you have someone around here install the MGW and springs?

Yes mine is stored too. Although in this weather I am tempted. But roads are Crap in CR.

Yeah I had meineke and Marion tire do my springs and alignment. The mgw I did on my own for sure...that was fun.

I will pm you my phone #. We need to get together. I have a bunch of car buddies here that we go to car shows and track meets all the time.
