At last. Been waiting since June 8 but yesterday I got my car. So far it is the only Race Red with over the top stripe and pedistal spoiler I have seen. It looks great and has awesome power (compared to my "old" 2010 GT.

Thanks! I wanted to get the GT500 mufflers put on before I picked up the car but the dealer says they are back ordered. But I plan on putting them on soon along with a Barton shifter and later a Steeda tune. A few people asked me if I was going to put black stripes on the side like the white ones that my 2010 had. I am thinking about that as I tihnk the sides look a little plain right now. And/or having the exisiting stripes extended down to the bumpers.

Good looking car..glad to see they finally got it to you! 3 weeks and 1200 miles on mine now and love it more every day!

 

Wow, 3 weeks and 1200 miles. Nice. I have 210 miles on mine mainly because the dealer is 150 miles away. I am breaking it in nicely I think, going through the rpms, fast accelerations, only red lining it once. Have you changed the oil yet? My guy said it was OK to change at 1000 miles. It is funny, I don't want to add alot of miles as I want to keep it new forever yet I want to add miles so I can get out of the break in period and "test it out"!

I just ordered a pair of GT500 mufflers from Late Model Restorations. They were on sale and have free shipping! So I got a set for $299!! My local Ford dealer will install for about $60.

Nice color and like the black stripe style. My only grip is actually with Ford. I like the stripes they have but not a fan of it ending with out going down the front fascia and rear bumper. Also the spaces they put between each stripe that's on a different panel.

The MSRP was $37,685 and I think the Xplan price was around $35,500 (numbers are home) then minus $1000 rebate and minus $750 coupon.
