My 2nd 2011 - Upgraded to GT
Had a 2011 Sterling Gray V6. Just yesterday I upgraded to a 2011 Race Red Premium GT. All I can say is this color is explosive and the GT is intoxicating. The dealership moved my Black wheels over for me and all I can say is wow. This car is absolutely awesome. Should have been my first choice almost a year ago

Thanks guys. Yes, the steering wheel is red leather.
I played around with the colors last night and settled back on ice blue. If I'm ever feeling amped up or angry the red may come back :P I may change the ambients to red though. Those weren't too bad. I felt like a bull fired up to charge staring at red gauges.
I was able to get 19k on the trade in for the v6. It was a base (+401a) v6 Sterling. I put the 10,000th mile on it driving to the dealer to drop it off. I had it for 11mon. The only other option on it was the wheels they took off the GT.
Monkeystash - I bought the car without looking at it (risky I know) and I was worried about the red-on-red. I'm usually not that flashy of a guy, hence the old stealth color combo of dark gray and black, but once I saw the red and got in it, I was sold. Its a good feel, the red-on-red.

I'm not a fan of that red. I live near loser-sooner land. Wear that, people think of zero u. Although on the '11 & up Mustangs, I like it just fine! Only on Mustangs.
It is just a good looking set-up!

Congrats to a Fellow Buyer's Remorse-er!
Your story sounds so similar to mine (worked a trade @ 11 months/8500 miles on my 2011 'vert to buy the '12 coupe I now have). Congrats on finally getting it right! Having the right car will be so worth it to you!

I know how you feel 'Iseador' and I have gotten SO many more looks in this than the last one. The black trim on the car was something I thought about, but strangely enough I really like the look of a white rocker panel stripe. Similar to this
Double-E, I'm working on it. I think tint and exhaust are next on the list. Maybe a stripe. These V8's are something else. I'd like to get lowering springs, but I had enough of a hard time scrapping with in my V6. Couldn't imagine how tough it would be after lowering it.
Laser, my last was an auto. I'm guessing you're asking cause of the username. Was an old nickname. Realized the confusion about 30 seconds after signing up.
