Installed Roush CAI this week, took the opportunity to tidy up a bit, took some pics, love the look of the engine bay. I couldn't show off at LV C&C this morning, so I'll share here.

I added an Airaid CAI this week and have been thinking about sprucing up the race red engine bay a little more. Where can I find chrome trim and such for the plenum cover? I'm also looking for a Ford blue oval source to replace the ugly Airaid badge.

Hi Bill (Hoss). Yours looks great. A lot of the parts websites offer engine dress-up kits, some with chrome (CJPony, American Muscle, Late Model Resto, etc.). There was a TMS user on this forum with a very nice metal piece for where the chrome-plastic '5.0' sits. Also, maybe a 'Powered By Ford' emblem will fit nicely if you want to replace your 'Airaid' oval - I think yet another TMS member has those for sale, too. Check the 'Parts For Sale' section in this forum. Love the Race Red BTW!
Pete, thanks for the guidance. I'll look around for some items to enhance the appearance. Lately, I've been focused on getting my decklid panel painted and acquiring tail light trim, both in Race Red. I'm making these preparations for Super Snake striping next month. In the meantime, I do need to focus more on the engine bay. I found a stainless trim kit for the plenum cover at EmblemPros. I think that bundle will go far in making the engine appearance cleaner and more noticeable. In addition, I do need to get rid of that Airaid oval. Somewhere there must be a Ford oval that will adequately fill the void. I think the "Powered by Ford" emblem would be better placed on each side of, and centered on top of, the stainless plenum cover kit pieces. I'd also llike to get the radiator cover painted to match the car. There's too much black under the hood. IMO, a man can't have too much RED.
