It's true, the WRX and STi crowd live this car.

Wow.

I put the 5/8" disk in and went to get some gas and take a buddy for a ride last night. On the way back I took a straight HWY that has a K rail down the middle. Two lanes each way. It's pretty much out in the country so I figure it's not the worst place to do a little WOT... Apparently I passed some white trash at some point because after I had been sitting at a light for a min this guy stops next to us and ANGRILY starts yelling.

Now I figure he's going to read me the riot act for driving like that on the street, but he yells, "so you think that car's fast huh homeboy?" Homeboy? He goes on yelling, yelling, "You're lucky my kid's in the car..." At that point I start to look over his shoulder to see what army he brought with him! I'm 6-2 230 and my friend is younger, bigger, stronger, angrier, etc so I'm literally shocked that he's speaking to us in that tone..

It wasn't until that point that he continued with, "I'd race you right now." He's in some beat to death 4 door Japanese sedan.

His rant continued with, "I gotta 600 and some cars that would beat that thing..." So he's really yelling at me because he's angry with himself for not being on a sport bike so he could race a guy in a car. That's my takeaway from the whole thing.

The light turned green, my buddy gave him the sarcastic, "Nice Acura" and we were on our way laughing our asses off.

^ LOL

My BOSS moment of the day, I crossed the 2000 mile mark this morning. Need to slow down a bit, but dammit, it's a fun car to drive!

2nd place at the local club show, got pulled over for doing 67 in a 50 in a little speed trap town over memorial day weekend, got off with a written warning, cop said it reminded him of his 70 Mach 1 , first time I have been pulled over since 1985 and I just sold my 11 second 06, guess it gets people's attention, thumbs up every time I drive it, no kills yet, no takers

Where in Maryland are you? I'm in Montgomery County near D.C. and haven't seen another boss on the road yet.

Sweet. Was it shipped directly from Ford to your local dealer or did it go to the US dealer first?

"Mopars and Bowties have been reluctant to do anything thus far."

Too true. Nobody has thrown down a challenge to this car. Camaro guys look away at the lights and meekly roll off the line. No challenges at all. LOL.

I am buying it from the US dealer and bringing it home myself.

I had some yaho in a 90's IROC with a foot high hood scoop decide he had to show me he was fast by passing me on the right on a two lane exit ramp during rush-hour traffic.

On the plus side, while getting gas, a guy in a 90's T-Bird yells I LOVE YOUR CAR. Then he asks when did they start making the Boss again? I said 4 months ago.

Just over 300 miles, if I take the direct route.
