If you want one right now, and don't mind that the value will probably drop about 25% when the used car price bubble bursts, go for it . . . if that would be a problem for you, then you might want to wait it out
$28K is not a horrible price, I've seen some (with lower mileage and in excellent condition) in the mid to upper thirties lately . . . pre-pandemic price might have been low $20's maybe?
