Woke up to someone looking in my car

Last night I woke up to see a car parked in front of my house with it's lights on. A guy in the backseat jumped out and ran past my other car to my Boss, shined a light in it and then ran back to the car and took off. I am trying to figure out what was that about. The only thing I could think of was he looking to see if I had Recaro seats? Would someone steal the seats?

I would think it was more of a spot check to see if you had a stereo or other valuables in the car for a quick ******. That's if they looked like they were up to something shady.

Sounds like you need some friends of Smith Western to look into it.

I would put it in your garage or something if I were you ... Sounds like they were looking for something to steal. If you can remember anything about the car I would call the police and report it as suspious activity to give them a heads up so that no one gets anything stolen from their car

As luck would have it, last night was the last night it was going to be out. I just put it away in winter storage at my mom's house. The odd thing was that the guy walked right by my Lexus, which has a big duffle bag of my biking junk in the back seat and went to the Mustang. He spent so little time looking in the car, I mean maybe 3-4 seconds and I could tell by the beam of light he didn't bother looking in the back seat.

As far as I can tell I'm the only one on this side of town. The nearby dealer I got mine from just sold another this week so I don't think that could be repo-ed yet.

Talking

Probably a Camaro owner who just wanted to see how much nicer the Boss dash and interior were then his Camaro. Purely innocent act.

Sounds like discriminating thieves to me. The Worst Kind! I second the motion of becoming a close friend to misters Smith and Wesson (not Western, don't know him).
