Will 18's clear the Brembo's?

Looking to use 18's for the track so I'm wondering if they will clear. Thanks.

Nice! Boss already on the trailer heading to the track or was that while bringing it home??

SOME 18s will clear the front Brembos, but you're limited as to exactly which 18s will clear... While you're researching, almost any wheel that you see on a Shelby GT500 ('07-'12) should also work on the Boss and the 302Rs also run 18s in Grand Am. Hope this helps.

Yea a little anxious. I just don't know what to expect compared to the GT500. I really wish I had TracKey, but it is what it is. So many unknowns, but it will be fun to see what happens. One of the upsides to you guys waiting for your cars is you'll have the complete "package" with TracKey when you do get them

Its 0004. The dealer finally realized it was painted and swapped cars with another dealer. I'm glad it worked out.

Think I might go with these. Looks like they only offer 9.5 wide though.

i dug the old thread up, i was off a bit apperently 28 pounds each, that is still 6 pounds more per wheel than tsw nurburgrings:

Those TSW's are starting to look like a good option. Didnt realize they were so light. I also like these. They weigh in around 22 lbs also. I had them on my 350z for track wheels. Wish I hadnt sold them now.

I'd go with the 2010 GT500 18" replica wheels in black from American Muscle. Great price and they'd look great on a Boss 302.

those woudl look good, but i bet they are well over 30 pounds each. none of those AM wheels are light enolugh for most track types to consider. I had their GT4 style wheels on my 05 and they were 32 pounds each on my bathroom scale.

good lord! i had no idea they would be that heavy.

personally, when I get mine; I'll probably buy the RTR wheels for my street wheels/tires, sell the stockers, and buy the 302R wheels painted or powdercoated gunmetal gray to use for the track.

So it looks like I'm going to go with the TSW's. I need to hit them up on fitment though. The websites I found them on list 18x8.5/9.5. If I can I want to go 18x9.5/10.5 to get some more rubber on there. Not sure if their offsets will work though.

18 x 9 31mm front and 18 x 9.5 40mm rear is what i ran on my 10. they dont have the ideal fitment in 10-inch wide rears
