Wheel Studs

I just got these today and will be installing tomorrow night. Now understand I've had mine on and off a lot and 17 track days of torque on r-comp tires so was planning on doing this anyway, but I waited one track day too long. Fortunately it was in the paddock and not on turn 3 I had cracked a front rotor and was swapping on the spares and found I was just starting to cord the right front tire. So, I swapped those too. While torquing down the last lug on the left front it spun off. I guess it was time to quit!

What did you pay? Will you install them yourself?

The reason I'm asking is you can get new hubs with studs from Ford Racing for about 400 for the pair up front............

Part number M-1104-A

I am seeing these about $200 to 230 a pair. What lug nuts would be needed for them?

Was going to get them from Sam Strano but he sold his last set to my dealer friend. Sam, knowing I was in a bind since my car was down, found Jegs was the only one who had stock immediately available since they were on backorder. It was a very cool thing of him to do.

$275 for front and rear studs and 24 open lugs. My friend and I are going to install in his garage tomorrow after work. He already swapped them on his GT.

Rehagen Racing gets the Ford Racing boxed ARP studs. Same studs different box. I paid $200 for the entire set and since they are local I picked them up which allowed me to check out their race cars.

Just wondering if this is a "warranty repair" on our factory built track cars?

In my case, I wanted to upgrade to a racing stud for safety. Looking for repair under warranty in that case might be like asking to replace the stock seat belts with a harness
